Looks: Wrote this as a post originally. Don't know why. Can change if necessary blah blah blah.
Tsubasa's naked form was exposed to the blistering cold as the psychotic figure observed his prey. Everything was perfect. Her small, soft feet were devoid of blemish and without callous. Long and slender, her legs were unarguably feminine; exotic in honest as they slid seductively up to rounded thighs, thin in their shape yet curved behind as if created from sculpted stone. Her hips curved sharply up into her stomach, the flat surface interrupted only by the soft lift and depression of breath, yet it left no mark of disdain upon the skin. Both arms wrapped themselves over her chest with long slender fingers gripping tightly to her own body as the nails dug sharply into a set of finely braced shoulders. A small stream of blood ran down the small of her neck, cleaving a path between her rounded breasts coloring the snow in a vibrant crimson.
A bleak void stared back at the darkened form within the shadow of the mountain, their broken gaze a harsh reality of failed affection; less than human. Perfectly aligned, perfectly shaped, perfectly spaced. Her face; the very vision of passion, of beauty, of desire. Her features were sharp, both cheeks high and smooth neither sunken too deep nor extended too far. Full, succulent lips poised themselves below a small, under an unobtrusive nose, the form only interrupted by the golden tattoos that decorated both cheeks and forehead. Her eyes were partially obscured behind a mass of thick, black hair; a brilliant contrast to the golden-yellow irises' concealed beneath. The length extended far past her shoulders, the finely tuned tips halting not until the lower end of her back.
The dim light from the waning moon and it's fellow stars barely illuminated the scene, her body lit only with the pale light; enhancing the void she had surrounded herself in. Thin and lithe in form, the outline was more than enough to captivate the most jaded of souls. Her skin was dark and exotic, covered in a barrage of wild tattoos that spanned every inch of her body; the golden color mocking that of her own eyes.
Personality: Yeah, I wrote this as a post too. Aren't I awesome?
"No." The alto sounded once again, the ever increasing fever from the aggressive girl enough to ignite the ire of any poor soul. "Too old. Ugly, and," Each insult was naught but habit for Tsubasa, the fiery attitude a mere accessory to her daily activities. "You smell." A hand raised as if to accentuate the remark, one of the typical gestures she was overtly found of. She paused for a moment as she considered that last statement. "Really bad. There are public baths, ya know." The final quip. The tease had ended, though it's intent was nowhere near that of playful. As per usual, Tsubasa had assumed her 'holier-than-thou' ritual, the format one those of her kin were very much aware of. Sarcasm reigned supreme as the acidic remarks flowed forth from her mind. There was a definite wit present in those words, a testament to whatever intelligence passed for plausible in that head of hers.
She did not exactly enjoy testing the local populace's patience. The terms 'cruel' and 'mean' were all but vacant from her vocabulary. This just irritated her. Not that this was hard these days, the bitchy attitude she had come to possess was a shadow over every action. No matter, she would deal with the situation in what she deemed to be the most effective manner. Really, she was kind at the core. Should the man have approached in a more 'humble' manner, Tsubasa never would have even considered flat out denial; but as it tended to do, her attitude got the best of her emotions. Foolish. A good descriptor, perhaps.
Unknowing, Tsubasa scratched the head of the falcon on her shoulder, her intense love for the creature the only factor that prevented her from simply 'losing it'. Hot headed, lazy, irresponsible, moronic little Tsubasa. The only qualities that even hinted at the semblance of good were buried deep beneath the surface, obscured behind an icy thick shell. Ugh, ice. The very thought made the girl shudder, immediately conjuring images of heat. Ah, a roaring fire... she could feel the warmth.
Whoops, he had been talking, hadn't he?
With a false grin, Tsubasa patted the man on the head, her eyes narrowed as if merely contradict herself. "Shut up, huh?"
Village Information Village of Birth: Yuki
Village of Alliance//Living: None
Rank//Chakra Information Ninja Rank: Genin Ranked Wanderer
Specialty: Medical Arts
Chakra Element: Water
Background Information History:
Born in obscurity, Tsubasa was born among the thick mountains of the Snow Country to the Naoru Clan, an isolated group that rarely participated in the events of of even their own country; lost to the even the culmination of history. With this, the girl's life was uneventful from the start; besieged with nothing more than daily chores and taught the arts of her kin with a strict hand, despite complaints or lack of will.
Tsubasa was able to slip through the strict rulings of her clan and developed a rebellious attitude from a young age, often finding ways to get herself into trouble and ending up on the unfriendly side of events. Though she belonged to the clan by birth, few accepted the girl as one of their own and most went so far as to even refuse teaching; leaving her education lacking at best. Never-the-less, she found her own way of things and made a habit of defiling the sacred arts of her ancestors. One such act lead to the intense ire of her superiors.
At the age of fifteen Tsubasa was involved in the indirect death of her own father. The details of the tale were mislead and manipulated, but none-the-less, the girl was blamed for the act and was herself sentenced to be killed. In a series of luck-filled events, she managed to secure a safe route away from the clutches of her folk, forging a path through the treacherous country. She was hunted at every step, pursued by kin and friends alike. Somehow, the girl was able to evade capture from even the most dire circumstances, her luck apparently at the forefront of every venture.
Of course, those that rely sorely on chance often become exposed. In one such situation, Tsubasa was beaten to a shadow of her former self, mere moments away from death. Deus Ex Machina decided to rear it's friendly head at the last moment, plucking the girl away from danger and delivering her into the welcoming arms of safety in the form of an old ninja, one whom had simply happened upon the instance while out for a walk. Her time spent with the old codger was short lived though, as her trail was lined thick, the task of seeking her presence a simple task. In an act of betrayal, Tsubasa sacrificed the old man to save her own hide, using him as a diversion as she made quick use of the 'back door'.
With a sore lack of options, Tsubasa left the country of her origin and traveled far away from what she had know, seeking a new beginning among the world she had been denied.
Five years of turmoil were spent seeking a permanent refuge. Utilizing the bastard skills she had learned, Tsubasa manged to survive off of odd jobs, mostly relying on her uncanny medical expertise and on-par brawling skills. It was during this time that she acquired her greatest companion, Kiboumaru , a wounded falcon whom she nursed back to full health. Ever since they have been nigh inseparable, both searching for a place of which to call home. From country to country she wandered, never once intrigued by the surroundings nor happy with the populace. Lost in the vastness of the world, Tsubasa had all but given up hope, her meanderings unsuccessful. It was not until her nineteenth year that she stumbled upon the heated cliffs of Kasai, for once inspired by the harsh terrain and rough atmosphere. Perhaps Tsubasa had finally found what she had sought for her short life.
A year later, she found very much the opposite. With her sensei, one of the only members of the village she enjoyed the company of, gone Tsubasa had no desire to remain within such walls. While out performing her test to become a Chuunin, Tsubasa merely wandered away and never returned, hopping that the powers that be assumed her dead. Once more, the girl became a wandering medic, unconcerned and unabashed by her situation.
Name: Water Clone Rank: C
Range: Far [10m+]
Element Affinity: Water Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Description
Purpose - Utilitarian; used as a more advanced form of the basic Bunshin.
Mechanics - Utilizing an ample supply of water, the Ninja must first form the prerequisite seals and make physical contact with the aforementioned water. After ward the caster may shape the water to take their own personal form that acts with the same personality as the user. The Caster may make make as many clones as their water supply and chakra will allow.
Effect - The Water Clone is a much more useful form of the basic Bunshin. It is able to interact with the physical world in ways such as holding objects and evening causing physical harm to an opponent. The moment the clone takes any kind of damage itself it will disperse back into the water that it was made of. The clone may leave the presence of the user, but any dry environment will begin to evaporate the water will destroy the clone over a short period of time.
Warder's Bond
Gennin Level
Name: Warder's Bond Rank: B
Range: Close to Far, Loses Effect at 10 Miles+
Element Affinity: N/A
Jutsu Type: Fuuinjutsu
Description
Purpose - Utilitarian; the Warder's Bond is used to establish a connection between the caster and any number of targets. This connection contains a constant exchange of information between both the target and the caster that includes emotions, medical status (levels of pain, broken bones, etc), and the general direction of which the other is located. This technique does nothing more than provide information and open way for more advanced abilities dealing with the Warder and their charge.
Mechanics - As a Fuuinjutsu technique, the caster first marks the target with a small swath of blood (a pricked finger for instance) over the forehead. Once this is done they imbue their own chakra into the target's body and seal the energy permanently, establishing a mental link. The process takes no more than a few minutes but it requires concentrating to finish the seal, making it exceedingly difficult to use on an unwilling target.
Effects - Physically, the Bond will appear as a thick black line in the center of the target's forehead. Otherwise there are no adverse effects to the seal unless one counts the initial purpose as negative. The strain of information can be cut off by the caster, but the only way for the target to be rid of the stream of emotions is to get out of range, permanently expell the chakra (which is done similarly to how a Genjutsu is broken, only considerably easier), or have the caster mute the stream.
Time - Permanent.
Name: Linked Sight Rank: C
Range: In Range of an Assigned Warder
Element Affinity: N/A
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Description
Purpose - Utilitarian; this technique will allow the caster to see from the eyes of any of her assigned Warders and works vice versa as well. Whatever one sees the other will see as well; the technique exchanges images as to how the other sees it; dojutsu or other enhancements can not be applied after the image has been transfered. For instance, if the caster possess normal eye sight and the Warder has an enhancement such as Byakugan than the caster will see whatever the Warder does from his perspective, but the warder will only see images from the caster as she see sees them.
Mechanics - Linked Sight will only work between a Warder and the linked caster. Utilizing the mental bond already in place the technique stems further into the brain and begins transferring optical data from one individual to the other. This can only be done with three (including the caster) individuals before it becomes too much for the individual to handle.
Effects - There are no obvious physical indications that the technique has been used but upon it's initial use and after the effect has dissipated both Warder and the Caster will experience a moment of disorientation as they must become accustom to seeing through two sets of eyes.
Time - Concentration.
Name: Linked Thoughts Rank: C
Range: In Range of an Assigned Warder
Element Affinity: N/A
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Description
Purpose - Utilitarian; Linked Thoughts transfers the surface thoughts (whatever the individual is thinking at that moment) from the caster to the Warder and vice versa. Thoughts may be represented as words, pictures, or sounds in the mind of the other; however they best interpret the message of the other.
Mechanics - Linked Thoughts will only work between a Wader and the linked caster. This technique delves into the more advanced parts of the brain allowing for more abstract mental communication.
Effects - The only adverse effect associated with this technique is that the caster and the Warder are not capable of hiding their thoughts from one another; at least, whatever they happen to be thinking about at a time. Otherwise there is no way to determine this technique is in use.
Time - Concentration.
Stealth
Gennin Level
Name: Chameleon Technique Rank: C
Range: Self
Element Affinity: None
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Description
Purpose - Utilitarian; a stealth technique that allows the user to blend with their surroundings and hide from the naked eye.
Mechanics - The Ninja must first perform the prerequisite seals and concentrate on both themselves and the surroundings for a short period of time (six seconds or so; a single post). In order the technique to remain up the caster must be close to whatever they are blending in with, five feet or so, otherwise the effects are completely lost.
Effects - The Chameleon Technique completely shadows the caster's form in the same texture and color of the surrounding architecture or natural environment. The ability stays with the Ninja for as long as they concentrate and uphold the ability, but it will constantly drain a steady supply of chakra with each post. This technique does not make the original caster invisible.
Time - Concentration
Familiar
Gennin Level
Name: Taka Masu - Falcon Growth Rank: C
Range: Touch
Element Affinity: N/A
Jutsu Type: Fuuinjutsu
Description
Purpose - Utilitarian; this technique is designed to increase the growth of, specifically, Kiboumaru; Tsubasa's falcon companion.
Mechanics - The caster first imbues chakra into the creature and seals said chakra in a ritual that takes no less than an hour, making it an impossible technique to do "on the fly". After the seal is complete the caster's chakra will engorge the falcon's body, enlarging the creature. This affect takes yet another half-an-hour after the initial sealing.
Effects - After the seal has been placed Kibourmaru will grow to, roughly, the size of a human. Proportions remain the same and he is able to carry a single person on his back comfortably; two if one is light, though it will severely decrease the bird's speed and maneuverability. The technique has no adverse effects on Kiboumaru.
There are two effects of Sizenchiyu, once which is achievable at Genin rank while the second is only possible at Chunin.
Basic Effects Primary: At Chunin level Sizenchiyu can be used a quick and sudden restoration. It can restore fatal wounds should the Shinobi activate the ability before the attack has connected, or it may restore dehabilitating wounds such has broken bones, etc.
Secondary: At Genin level Sizenchiyu can be activated as a long term restoration, healing wounds over a long period of time by replicating cells at an increased level. This ability is also the only way to restore use of the damage dealt by the rest of the bloodline abilities.
Special
The Shinobi must stab themselves in the area in which they have been wounded for the effects of the primary ability to take place. For the secondary ability, the Shinobi must merely be able to concentrate for long periods of time.
Drawback
The penalties associated with the primary effects are severe in consequence as the Shinobi expends a quarter of their total chakra to utilize it. This can not be halved or avoided by any means. If the Shinobi has less than the available then the technique will not work, not too mention that if they choose the wrong location then the technique will simply heal the wounded caused by there own designs. The secondary effect has no real immediate drawbacks, but the Shinobi will be in a temporary stasis and will not be able to react to immediate threats.
In-Depth
Primary: The technique is activated upon stabbing (via sword, kunai, etc) oneself in the area at which one wishes to activate Sizenchiyu before the damage is dealt. This will send an immediate pulse of activity (via chakra) to the cellular mitochondria which will start producing energy at an enhanced rate and forcing new cells to be created while the old tissue is disposed in a quick regeneration process. Upon receiving the damage, the cells will at once begin to repopulate and rebuild the body using previously stored genetic data and drawing heavily on the Shinobi's chakra. Should the user not have the properly specified amount of energy left than the effects will not take place. After the regeneration process is over, the cells will return to their previous state and function normally. The after effects are devastating on the user's Chakra supply as it will take quite a bit from the stores, leaving the Shinobi drained, but still capable of acting.
Secondary: Upon focusing their chakra along the circulatory system the user will gain the same effects of the primary ability, only it will at a much slower and controlled rate. The system no longer needs the sudden shock and release of chakra to initiate the effects, but will instead leech off the available stores and produce the same results over a longer period. The amount of time depends on the wound itself. Superficial wounds take no less than a day, broken bones anywhere from 2-4 days, while fatal wounds will take an entire week to a month depending on just how fatal the wound is. The user must be conscious to initiate this form of Sizenchiyu, but once done they become catatonic until healed. This still takes one quarter of the Shinobi's chakra, though unlike the primary function this ability will continue to act until it can no longer draw energy from the body due to the slow 'leeching' process. This is also the only way in which any of the damage dealt to user by further bloodline abilities can be restored.
Basic Effect
This technique is used solely for the quick rejuvenation of others. Upon touching the target, they will immediately heal any strenuous wounds, even near fatal damage.
Special
The Shinobi must cut herself along the strand of Tattoos on either her arms, legs, or area around the eyes. These cuts can not be small, half-motivated slashes, but actual painful and possibly even dangerous wounds.
Drawbacks
After utilizing the technique the Shinobi will lose the use of the particular body part they cut along in order to heal their target and can only regain the use after utilizing Sizenchiyu. There is no other way to restore this damage. Should the Shinobi use the same body part for the technique a second time they will permanently lose that limb and/or eye. They can not be fixed. Also, this technique can only be restored by use of the secondary ability of Sizenchiyu. Can consumption is akin to utilizing any B rank technique.
In-Depth
The Shinobi will first cut along the proper strand of the exposed Tattoo on either her arms, legs, or around the eyes. After doing so, the tattoo's on the corresponding area will flare up into a bright blue color at which point a large burst of energy will be discharged into another being upon touching them. This transfer will carry the genetic information of the bloodline user into the target and will at once meld with their genetic structure, utilizing the borrowed chakra from the original Shinobi and healing any strenuous damage in a concentrated area (the area touched). This puts no strain on the target at all. Once the regeneration is finished, the genetic information will be expelled from the foreign cells and destroyed by the body's natural defenses with the help of the remaining chakra. The effects for the user are rather devastating as they lose complete control of the limb, sacrificing their own abilities to help another. Not too mention they just cut themselves in a not-all-too-friendly manner. After the ability is finished, the strand of golden tattoos will fade to a dull grey.
Description: Tsubasa's second traveling partner and most useful utility. This bag holds all of the girl's medical supplies, which includes various tools and herbs used for several medicinal purposes. Most of the equipment she carries is mundane in nature, but there are a few select items that posses very unique abilities.
Medicinal Concoctions
Description A simple selection of ointments, injections, and various other lot of medicinal utilities.
Eimin Konkei- Despite it's name, this concoction doesn't kill much of anything. The name comes from the illusion that it causes, sending those that drink it into near death-like state by setting their heartbeat so low that it is almost impossible to determine - by natural means - that the creature is still alive. Tsubasa has room enough for four viles, each packed together tightly near the top of her bag.
Gitou Chiri - This powder does just as it's name implies. Used for particularly ornery patients, the dust is cupped just under the individuals nose and if inhaled it will at first daze the patient, then knock them out. The time it takes depends on just how resilient (or annoying) the person is.
Shoukidzuku Jia - An injection that sends an intense chemical compound into the patient that immediately shocks the body awake from an unconscious state. This can be dangerous to use as the patient may need all their energy to rest. Also, using this on someone whom is already awake will send their system into hyper-active state, giving them an intensity to any of their actions. Granted, once the effects ware off (Perhaps no more than a minute or two), the patient's body will become sluggish and require a full days worth of rest to recover.
Itami Chidon - This liquid substance acts to deter once senses, dulling them to the point of ridding the patient of any real lucidity. The use of this injection is for particularly painful procedures or simple actions that simply cause too much pain. The effects typically last for an hour on an unconscious patient and somewhere around ten minutes for someone whom is still awake.
Poisons
Note: These do not follow the new template because they are old. As of current, they're unusable. Just ignore this section.
Description: The following items are poisons cultivated by Tsubasa in order to form proper counter agents. She only keeps a minimal amount of the actual poison on her; using it as a reference more than a weapon. The brunt of herbs she carries (that have poisonous qualities) are as follows: Aconitum Napellus, Conium Maculatum, Atropa Belladonna, Oleander, Abrus Precatorius, Foxglove, and Yew.
Note: All of those mentioned above are actual substances and have both medicinal and poisonous properties.
Acontium - This herb has two forms. First, it's medicinal form, can be used to treat fevers and local inflammations. Second, the actual poison is taken from the alkaloid Japaconitine. About 1/100 of a grain is safe to handle at any time and causes local trauma to a centralized area, stopping all use of that particular part of the body; essentially numbing it.
Anmin Zassou - Harvested from the weeds of water-side growing plants, Anmin Zassou is a strong depressant that, on contact with an injury, mucks up the body and essentially slows the overall processing of information, making actions sluggish and unresponsive.
Digitalis - The main toxins in Digitalis are the two chemically similar cardiac glycosides: digitoxin and digoxin. Like other cardiac glycosides, the Digitalis toxins exert their effects by inhibiting the activity of a complex of transmembrane proteins. Inhibition of these in turn causes a rise at an intracellular level, which in turn results in increased force of myocardial muscle contractions. Essentially, at the right dosage, this poison will cause the heart to beat more strongly, but a slight increase will cause severe cardiac arrest, killing the target.
Gakankinkyuu - This poison spreads a bacterial infection upon meeting an open wound, effecting the target's nervous system. The target will first experience a muscular stiffness in the jaw (lockjaw), followed by stiffness of the neck, difficulty in swallowing, rigidity of abdominal muscles, spasms, sweating and fever. The main purpose of this poison is it's stealth applications, silencing targets almost immediately without actually killing them.
Hishou - Hishou directly affects the gastric (and sometimes duodenal) juices in the body and forces them into the esophagus, causing a strong 'retching' sensation. The secondary effect is intense vomiting, often spilling the entire contents of one's stomach. This is a poison, but is used more so for medicinal purposes.
Bouzen Ekijuu - An extract that when applied to a wound will cause a euphoric sensation, dazing the target for a brief period of time. This does not last long, but otherwise sends the mind into a blurry haze.
Story: The origin of the kit comes from Tsubasa's home in the Naoru Clan. The Naoru Healers each carry one of these, the contents consisting of their mundane medicinal supplies and any other concoctions the healer them self has created during the course of their experiences. Tsubasa has had her kit since the age of six, the former items no more than simple tools. Upon leaving her clan she managed to raid enough supplies to make up a full kit, despite the odd uneven collection of tools. After avoiding recapture, she spent a good deal of time scouring the sides of many countries during her travels, creating unique additions to her own supply. The bag is ever evolving, constantly seeing new additions and loss of old items that are simply no longer useful.
As with Tsubasa's medicinal concoctions, she learned the art of poison from her clan to act strictly in the use of creating counter agents. Over the years she has been traveling and training, she has acquired a large supply of plants and chemicals that have slowly been forming into a complex series of useful poisons, housed deep in the bottom of the kit.
Poisonous Explosive Kunai
Description: Tsubasa has altered her Kunai to be a bit more effective in combat in order to make them a more useful tool. Along with the addition of the standard explosive tag, she has hallowed out the hilts and placed a large amount of her various poisons inside, mostly in the form of a highly compacted powered form that will release and spread upon the resulting explosion, sending a torrent of practically undetectable poison into the air just outside the radius of the blast.
Chiri Kunai - These Kunai have been outfitted with Tsubasa's personally crafted medical concoction Gitou Chiri. The power will spread out upon the explosion and if inhaled, will daze the opponent before simply knocking them out. Particularly fortuitous individuals will be able to forgo the knock-out effects, but will still be dazed for some time, leaving their actions slow and sluggish.
Supply - x3
Hishou Kunai - Used for a more sickening effect, this Kunai releases a strong, sickening sense as they have been laced with Tsubasa's Hishou poison, forcing anyone in the area to wretch the entire contents of their stomach just by simply being within the field of effect.
Supply - x2
Ekijuu Kunai - The largest radius of effect, the Ekijuu Kunai is one of the most annoying. Upon inhaling the fumes, the Shinobi will experience a euphoric sensation that will send their mind into a temporary blurry haze. Even more fortuitous individuals have trouble resisting this effect, as it inspires a typical 'high' like most powerful drugs.
Supply - x2
Story: There isn't much to explain, Tsubasa merely took note of the useless factor of tossing a standard Kunai and that most Shinobi expect a large explosion when put in conjunction with an explosive tag, but few seem to pay attention to subtly, leading to the addition of the practically undetectable extras of the poisonous substances.
Sterilization Gloves
Description: The seemingly mundane gloves that Tsubasa wares no matter which outfit she has chosen for the day. The gloves themselves are actually a simple surgery companion of the Naoru Clan. By channeling a small bit of chakra into them, the gloves then transfer this energy into the current tool being used, sterilizing the edges and making them completely safe to be used.
Story: During her escape from the Naoru Clan, Tsubasa had managed to secure herself away in a small village not too terribly far away from the clan's territory. While resting, the village was visited by one of the Naoru Healers and, while he was busy tending to the sick, she raided the supplies he had left unattended oh-so luckily by her hideout. Nothing of real use was taken, except for one of most essential of all the Naoru's small pieces of equipment.
